Heather Smith is a senior at Olathe Northwest High School, and a member of the Entertainment Video Strand in the e-Communication 21st Century program.
e-Communication is a unique program for the opportunities to work with clients. Web Design was originally the most intriguing focus for its growing need. Every focus had its pros, but she is glad she chose entertainment video to be her focus.
Heather has worked with clients ranging from the Band Director at Olathe Northwest High School, to Movie Director Tara Veneruso. She has enjoyed learning film making skills, creating stories, and making videos for a wide range of audiences.
Her favorite projects include making the pre-opener for the Olathe Northwest Marching Band, making short films for finals, and more recently being the camera operator for our class short film A Thousand Words.
Video teaches the art of working together, story telling, and the creative process. These skills are necessary to everything we do in life. This class has been a great adventure
